The Plaid Studio turns a thread count, or a plain sentence, into a true woven tile. Then paint it, draw it, or set florals and geometrics beside it. Every export is a seamless repeat you can print, sell, or send to a mill.
Weaving…
Navy and forest green tartan
Pick a starting point. Weave a cloth from a thread count, then paint it or draw it, or leave the loom for print: repeat a motif, or lay a floral scene over a seamless tile.

Woven thread by thread from a thread count and a weave draft.
Start with Sett →
The same cloth, painted wet and loose on textured paper.
Start with Watercolour →
The same cloth, drawn with a fineliner, fountain pen, brush pen, marker or pencil.
Start with Pen →
168 geometric and textile patterns, repeated over a seamless tile.
Start with GeoPrint →
Drawn motifs laid as a scene, from ditsy to large, tossed or in bouquets.
Start with Floral →Every design can be finished on the press as well: eighteen print and dye effects, from ikat to riso.
Three steps, and none of them is drawing a repeat by hand.
Type a thread count like K4 R24 K6 Y4, describe the cloth in English or Turkish, or paste a recipe from ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini.
The cloth is woven with its real weave and yarn count, on a ruler in centimetres, so what you see is what the loom makes.
A seamless PNG up to 16K and 600 dpi, an A4 spec sheet with the thread count and the repeat in centimetres, or a WIF draft a loom can weave.
People who need a pattern that repeats cleanly and can be made, not just looked at.
